Fujian Landfill Project
This project captures methane from a landfill and uses it to generate
clean electricity in China. Methane is 25 times more potent than CO2
as a global warming gas. The total reductions achieved between
2007 and 2008 are 60,000 tCO2 equivalent, verified and certified to
the Voluntary Carbon Standard.
